The system functions as a data transit area and back-up, and runs on the most updated software, so as to increase workflow in terms of efficiency and seamlessness , as well as to ensure a high security and data-protection level.
Furthermore, our Server allows us to directly exchange data with our clients through the Internet. Thanks to such dedicated Server, our clients can check on the progress of images design, and download low-resolution files; view PDF documents for the final checking and approval for printing; access their personal data base.
The Data Base Server Division runs on four computers that work in synergy:
• one 3700a Server which works on 4 CPUs with 1 GHz and 2 GB RAM;• one 3700a Server which works on 4 CPUs with 1 GHz and 2 GB RAM;• an IBM-JAVA Server which works on 2 CPUs with 3 GHz and 2 GB RAM;• an IBM Series 232/8668 Server with 2 CPUs of 1,4 GHz and 2,4 GB RAM.

The Pre Press Division consists of four different Departments, which work on preparing digital images for printing (take place). Starting from image importing, or designing a new one from scratch, it includes image editing and colour proofs. Image editing is performed by computer graphics specialists having a shown/sound experience that enables them to work on products with the highest speed and security, combining expertise and creativity.
The Pre Press is the thinking core of the FOTLITO 33 laboratory bringing together the software knowledge, high-grade performance and know-how of our professional graphic designers, besides a state-of-the art equipment, in order to develop the best solutions ever for our Clients.
The Pre Press division includes:
• the Macintosh department;• the Workstation department;• the Scanner department;• the Colour Proofs department.
This is where creativity and specialised editing of graphical products take place. This division, which links the various company departments, is equipped with last-generation Apple computers and a large number of software programmes that are always kept updated, thanks to which FOTLITO 73 can respond with extraordinary flexibility to any requests of the Clients and the various technologies used within the graphic sector.
The Macintosh department is equipped with:

The Workstation Department is the pride and glory of FOTLITO 73: its cutting-edge technical equipment, with the fastest and most advanced processors worldwide, use Silicon Graphics technology, so as to allow for advanced functions and top-level colour changes.
The machines used here are normally employed in the movie industry for creating special effects!

FOTLITO 73 is equipped with specialised tools to carry out proofs and printed colour analysis, and test screen printing meshes, in order to guarantee safe and trustworthy products. Superior quality, colour rendering and precision are indeed the technical features that FOTLITO 73 is able to achieve in each of its products. For this reason, we constantly update our machines to the latest operative software release, so as to provide both our clients and the printer with guaranteed quality proofs, as well as Dupont-certified proofs.
The Colour Proofs Department is equipped with:

Printing sheets are made in this department. Throughout intermediate passages - that lead first to the production of digital-format screens and then to thir transposal on a hard support (printing plate) - clients can check and provide feedback on the printed job, product accuracy and colour quality, before the plates are started to be reproduced on paper or other materials.
The Computer To Plate Department is equipped with:
• 1 primary 2- 3 Ghz KODAK server with 2GB Ram CPUs;• 4 Power Macintosh stations with ScenicSoft Preps software;• 2 Power Macintosh station with Prinergy Workshop software;• 1 Kodak MAGNUS VLF platesetter; • 1 Kodak MAGNUS 400 E platesetter;• 1 Kodak Polychrome Graphics platesetter;• 1 Techno Graphic in-line platebaking oven.

The FOTLITO 73 Laboratory counts now on several decades of experience and features one of the most advanced tools available (on the market): the Kodak Nexpress 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press.
Besides printing on any kind of paper (glossy, cardboard, soft touch, satin, pearl or even golden paper!) and in any format, we also perform cutting, folding, sewing, or even plasticisation, together with any kind of bookbinding (wire stitching, omega stitching, metal coil, soft coil binding etc.) and wrapping.
The Digital Print Department is equipped with:
• 1 Kodak Nexpress 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press;• 1 multifunction laser colour printer for envelopes;• 1 multifunction Duplo cutter/sheeting machine;• 1 Polar 115 cutter/sheeting machine;• 1 Heidelberg Stitchexpert binding and wire sewing machine; • 1 Gbc Foliant 520 T plasticizer – size 50x70; • 1 Euro Fold paper-folding machine that can handle up to 8 folds; • 1 Morgana Autocreaser automatic creasing machine ;• 1 wire stitching machine – GBC system for metal coils – small-size plasticizing machines – a drill that can make up to 24 holes –Trimmed soft bound – screen positioning machine – shrink-wrapping machine.

Thanks to a broad array of equipment and the new “stochastic mesh” (ink jet) technology, we can meet any requests of our clients, printing in any kind of format. Such technology broadens the possibility of obtaining a superb quality print that looks spectacular and realistic.
It is therefore possible to achieve a great details sharpness and colour richness, thereby obtaining incredibly realistic images, neat and perfectly precise fonts, and enlargement prints that are thoroughly accurate and have high-resolution even in the tiniest detail.
We don't have limitations in terms of requested print support type or print-runs and colour.
The Offset Printing Department is equipped with:
